WELCOME TO THE JOHN R. WOODEN CLASSIC
Each year some of the nation's premier men's college basketball teams compete in the Honda John R. Wooden Classic at Honda Center.

Established in 1994, the Wooden Classic is an annual tribute to the legendary former coach (who passed away in 2010 at the age of 99) and the excellence he personified. The event, produced by Anaheim Arena Management, LLC, has a tradition of bringing the nation’s finest college programs to Southern California.

San Diego State defeated UCLA, 78-69 in the 19th edition of the Honda John R. Wooden Classic.
